It's legitimately a poorly done mod, very much a product of its own timeframe. I'd argue most big quest / new lands mods aren't actually much better than Falskaar though. Most don't even have any kind of voice acting. Someone recently uploaded a promising looking comprehensive bug fix patch for it, also.

Falskaar is not original in the least. At least the author didn't copy and paste large chunks of vanilla dungeons together. Wyrmstooth's main dungeon is 1/4 Bleak Falls Barrow.
